     | We Are Church  We are Church When we say "I love you" When I see Jesus in you, When I feel whole because of Your affirmation of me, When I feel oneness with you, We are Church When I am needed, When I am wanted by you, When I need and want you We are Church You are my anchor in Our vast ocean of Faith, And I am yours. Our Faiths are unique, But connected through our couple-ness. Inasmuch as we are friends, Inasmuch as we are Lovers, Inasmuch as we are a family We are church. Alone I know God. Alone I Love Jesus. Alone my Faith is life giving. But with you, God is even more present. With you my Love affair with Jesus is Personified. Together our Faith can move The proverbial mountain. For it is through you that My faith is renewed again and again. Together with Jesus, We are Church! My Faith is a pitcher holding Water enough to quench many thirsts. But you and I together have a lake That more than satisfies our thirsts. It invites us to splash and swim, And enjoy our Love. Our Church is our being for one another, With Jesus at the core. Our Church is our Loving one another, With Jesus as our teacher. For Jesus commands us to Love. Love in action and compassion Love in community and commitment We are called to be Church, And Church means LOVE. We are Church because we Love-Because we Love Jesus.
